In 2019, New Growth Horizon Foundation was created to bring to life Proper’s commitment to community and connection. New Growth Horizon supports the people of Missouri by investing in three outcomes: 

• Stability — people have their basic needs met 
• Creativity — people can learn, express, and grow 
• Community — people feel connected, valued, and supported 
  

This May and June, we are supporting 5 nonprofits tackling critical challenges in our community:

• PROMO Missouri Confronts systemic inequities to liberate the full spectrum of the LGBTQ+ community from discrimination and oppression. 
• NAMI St. Louis Provides education, advocacy, and support essential to the recovery, resilience, and well-being of all who have mental health needs and for their families, caregivers, and the community. 
• Grassroots Redeeming Love: Provides immediate and long-term relief for St. Louis families impacted by the May 16, 2025 tornado. 
• Operation Breakthrough, Kansas City. Provides a safe, loving and educational environment for children in poverty and empowers their families through advocacy, emergency aid and education. 
• Journey to New Life. Restores opportunity for those re-entering life after prison through housing, peer support, career development, case management, and community engagement.
