What We Hear From Chronic Pain Patients—and How We Help Guide the Conversation

April 6, 2026

Medical Monthly cover: Chronic Pain and Inflammation in blue text on a white background

Chronic pain is the most common qualifying condition for Missouri medical cannabis patients. If you're living with arthritis, fibromyalgia, nerve damage, or another chronic pain condition, it's likely the reason you pursued your medical card. If you've ever walked into a dispensary and felt like the staff wasn't quite ready for that conversation, we want to change that.

We train our team to have real conversations about chronic pain. That doesn't mean we make promises about outcomes. It means we ask better questions. What kind of pain are you managing? Where is it located? What formats have you tried? These questions help us point you toward products that other chronic pain patients frequently come back for, and help you have a more informed conversation with your doctor.

What our team focuses on:

When patients mention chronic pain, we discuss cannabinoid profiles (THC, CBD, terpene ratios), format differences (onset and duration characteristics of flower, edibles, tinctures, topicals), and what other chronic pain patients in our community ask about most. We describe products factually. We do not make claims about what any product will do for your pain.
